WWE SmackDown: What Went Down?
The show began with Shane McMahon making his way into the ring and saying he was glad Kevin Owens wasn’t a part of the Raw Reunion. He accepted Owens’ challenge for a match at Summerslam. Following that Apollo Crews defeated Shinsuke Nakamura.
Then there was Miz TV with Shawn Michaels where Dolph Ziggler interfered and the segment ended with Dolph super-kicking HBK. Then Ember Moon defeated Charlotte Flair. There was an Orton-Kofi promo where Orton says he will fight Kofi at SummerSlam. Then Kofi defeated Samoa Joe in a match. Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns ended with Shane McMahon getting a Stone Cold Stunner from Kevin Owens in the end.

SmackDown is routinely amazing episodic television. The Orton/Kofi segment is what I live for. When WWE decides to utilize the previous history and encounters of characters, they really make it count. I’m ready for Kofi and Orton. Main event jones.
