Wrestlemania, every year, is WWE’s biggest show. Billed as ‘the showcase of the immortals’ and the ‘biggest stage of them all’, this year marks the 35th anniversary of the show. WWE Wrestlemania 35 is all set to take place on the 7th of April 2019 at the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Let us take a closer look at all of the matches that have been announced for WWE WrestleMania 35 so far:
WWE WrestleMania 35: Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins
Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship is one of the biggest matches of the card. Lesnar, who continues his second reign as the champion, faces off Seth Rollins. Rollins won the Royal Rumble earlier this year – and has since decided to face the beast at WWE Wrestlemania 35.
WWE WrestleMania 35: Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair
Most likely to be the main event of WWE WrestleMania 35 as well as the show-stealer match of the night, this three-way fight is all set to be for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Becky Lynch is the hottest name in WWE while Ronda Rousey comes from the UFC and is the reigning Raw Women’s Champion. Charlotte Flair, the daughter of Ric Flair is another major name and all three stand an equal chance of winning this one!
WWE WrestleMania 35: Triple H vs Batista
A returning Batista crashed the birthday celebration of Ric Flair, dragged the legend and shouted ‘Do I have your attention now’ to Triple H. The fight between these two former Evolution members is all set to be a ‘No Holds Barred’ match. Expect it to be a violent and brutal encounter. Moreover, this will be the last match of Batista’s WWE career.
WWE WrestleMania 35: Shane McMahon vs The Miz
Shane McMahon and The Miz were former tag-team partners, but after a series of losses, McMahon attacked The Miz and his father. Enraged at this, The Miz will now face off Shane McMahon at WWE Wrestlemania 35. Interestingly, The Miz is now a ‘face’ (a good guy).
WWE WrestleMania 35: AJ Styles vs Randy Orton
After a scathing promo from The Viper where he namedropped Dixie Carter, AJ Styles and Randy Orton will be facing off against each other at WWE WrestleMania 35. These are two equally matched men and superstars in their own right. This has the potential to be the match of the night!
WWE WrestleMania 35: Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin
Kurt Angle, who is all set to retire at Wrestlemania this year, will take on Baron Corbin as his last opponent. However, expect a swerve here as it is heavily rumoured that John Cena will be the one to retire Kurt Angle at WWE Wrestlemania 35.
WWE WrestleMania 35: Other Speculated Matches
In addition to these matches, there are some which are yet to be announced. We expect Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan to take place for the WWE Championship. Kevin Ownes might be inserted here as well.
Moreover, there’s the US Title – which is most likely going to be Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio (vs a few other names). Moreover, Braun Strowman has confirmed his participation at this years’ Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale.
It will be interesting to see what the show has to offer! Stay tuned with us for more updates from WWE.
