Xaomi have definitely been gearing themselves to continue with the legacy of Pocophone F1. No wonder, Poco fans are going around for the rumours and leaks regarding the upcoming Pocophone F2. It’s no wonder for a highly anticipated phone on the horizon.
Rise of Xiaomi Pocophone F2
The first edition had an outstanding performance thanks to its flagship-level specs. And now, it is time for the Pocophone F2 to earn the same love, but for a different reason. Speculation from the Chinese social network site Weibo, reveals that this may have a pop-up camera!
What followed this leak were a storm of tweets, including @MishaalRahman who tweeted in agreement to these claims. He said that Xiaomi was testing a shell command that in turn executes a motor test that would presumably pop and push the camera.
Further digging from Rahman’s part revealed that all this testing was conducted for an unknown device named “davinci”.

XDA developer, Francesco Tescari, found a device named “Raphael”. This device was presumably powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip. Francesco also confirmed that both “Raphael” and “davinci” will ship with an on-screen optical fingerprint scanner.
Moving to the specs, both believe that the Pocophone F2 will have near flagship specs. Rumours are that the phone will sport a 6.39 inch AMOLED display, a humongous 4,000mAH battery, and a glass body.
Other rumours indicate that this phone will also have three photographic rear sensors, along with the pop-up front camera. The RAM is supposed to get a boost too, with it being increased to 8 GB.
It is clear that Xaomi is going for the same tactics as they did with the Pocophone F1- providing a flagship spec for a budget price. But it is the new innovations, especially the front camera, that has the smartphone world buzzing over this new Pocophone.
