Yellowjackets Season 3: All About It
A New Jersey high-school girls’ football team travels to Seattle in 1996 for a national competition. Their aircraft crashes into the woods while over Canada, leaving the team members who survived there for nineteen months. The series follows their efforts to stay alive as some team members are driven to cannibalism. The events of their tragedy continue to influence them many years after their rescue, 25 years later in 2021.
The Yellowjackets Season 2 concluded on May 28, 2023, with just nine episodes. This season dealt with two months into the harsh wilderness winters where the food supply is short, and our girls struggle to survive in the brutal snowfall, right from Episode 1, resorting to cannibalism. Both the adult and teen version of the characters in the finale is left reeling from profound traumas and preparing for whatever may come next.
Yellowjackets may have a bonus episode between Season 2 and Season 3, as Ashley Lyle, creator of the series, confirmed in her Twitter posts, however, she did not mention the exact date of the release of the bonus episode.

When Will Yellowjackets Season 3 Release?
Yellowjackets Season 3 is officially announced to be in the works. On May 2, 2023, Lyle, the creator of the show, confirmed that they had started working on the series, although they had to pause their work for now due to the Writer’s Strike. Lyle expects to soon get back to work with the new season.

So we can expect Yellowjackets Season 3 within late 2024 or early 2025 since the Writer’s Strike may go on till late summer this year.
Yellowstone Season 3: Cast to Expect
The majority of the Yellowjackets cast will likely return in Season 3, including Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, Warren Kole, Simone Kessell, and Lauren Ambrose, to name a few. Along with the old faces, new cast addition, including Elijah Wood and John Reynolds, among others, are in talks.
