Recently, Deadline reported that Kevin Costner was having disagreements with Taylor Sheridan and Paramount Network regarding some scheduling issues. According to the reports, the 68-year-old actor who portrays the show’s protagonist John Dutton had set a filming restriction of 65 days, but he wanted to cut it down to 50 days for the first half of the season and a week for the second.

The reports further mentioned that these demands were not sitting on par with the rest of the crew and the production team.
However, the drama intensifies more as Kevin Costner’s Lawyers ridiculed the statement of Kevin Costner asking to work for part 2 of Season 5 for just one week and confirmed that all these were “absolute lies”. “It’s ridiculous, and anyone suggesting it shouldn’t be believed for one second. As everyone who knows anything about Kevin is well aware, he is incredibly passionate about the show and has always gone way above and beyond to ensure its success”, Marty Singer, Costner’s lawyer claimed according to Puck News.
Paramount Networks, later confirmed that they consider Kevin Costner to be a big part of the team and wish it remains the same. Although they did not confirm anything regarding Season 6.

Yellowstone Season 6 for now has not got any official confirmation. However, fans can expect the release of Part 2 for Yellowstone Season 5, this year in November.
