The Chicago Bulls guard and forward Zach LaVine is likely to get acquired by the Oklahoma City Thunder this offseason. The Thunder are so rich in draft capital at the moment that they can’t even keep all of it to themselves. They are forced to splash it on some player, and they are more than ready to do so. The Bulls might be rebuilding again very soon, and Zach is set to be put on the market. Will the Thunders’ capital find their way to the Bulls’?
The UCLA Bruins product played 77 games for the Bulls last season and averaged 24.8 points per game while shooting 37.5 percent from beyond the arc. The 28-year-old will catch the eye of many teams with these kinds of stats, but the Thunder have got what it takes to land a star. Can they make it happen? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Chicago Bulls involving Zach LaVine.
What would the Thunder offer for Zach LaVine?
The Thunder are expected to offer Davis Bertans, Luguentz Dort, Victor Oladipo, and one first-round pick each from the years 2024 and 2026 in exchange for the Bulls’ #8. The Bulls know that the Thunder have a lot of draft picks, and they can ask for a few more if they like.

Why would the Bulls trade-off Zach LaVine?
The Bulls are struggling for the time being, and it has been long the same way. Lonzo Ball would not be available and anyway, their star signings’ individual brilliance has failed to bring success to the Bulls. They have yet to enjoy the fruits of their last rebuild and are already preparing for another.

Why would the Thunder like to sign Zach LaVine?
Josh Giddey and Gilgeous Alexander are already on the roster, so why does the Thunder want another guard? Just to splurge their assets on somebody? No. The Thunder are acquiring a brilliant scorer and floor spacer here and that does not even require trading their existing guards.
How will the Thunder line up next season? Will the Bulls rebuild again? We’ll keep you updated.
