Coachella spectators were taken aback when Labrinth abruptly invited Zendaya on stage for a duet that sparked outrage on social media.
The performance comes only one week after the “Genius” singer stunned fans by performing with Billie Eilish at the first weekend of the annual music festival in Indio, California.

Following the success of her 2013 hit single “Replay,” Zendaya released her self-titled first album the following year.
The Primetime Emmy winner, who has focused on acting endeavors in recent years, tweeted about her music career last year.
“I stepped away from music quite a while ago, for a number of reasons,” she said in a tweet in March 2022. “But I still really love it.”
Zendaya’s next film is “Challengers,” which follows three tennis players who met as teenagers but subsequently square off in a tennis competition, rekindling old grudges.
The sports romance film, which will be released on August 11, also stars Mike Faist (“West Side Story”) and Josh O’Connor (“The Crown”).
