The Toronto Raptors forward, OG Anunoby, might get traded to the Sacramento Kings this offseason. The Kings could not make it to the playoffs for 16 years, but things changed last season, and they found themselves in the playoffs. Now, the lion has tasted blood, and he would be hungry for more. The Kings are expected to make multiple changes to their roster this offseason to better their last season’s performance. How about starting with the defense?
The Indiana Hoosiers product Anunoby played 67 games for the Pacers last season and averaged 16.8 points, 2 assists, and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 38.7 percent from beyond the arc. He can be that one player who can handle the Kings’ defense. Will they manage to sign him? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Toronto Raptors and the Sacramento Kings involving OG Anunoby.
What would the Kings offer for OG Anunoby?
The Kings are expected to offer Harrison Barnes, Davion Mitchell, and one first-round pick each from the years 2026 and 2028 in exchange for the Raptors’ #3. The Raptors were brilliant just a few years back and look at them now, the team could not even make it to the playoffs. Will this trade strengthen them?
#Sources — Toronto has cooled off trade talks completely on both Pascal Siakam & OG Anunoby. Raptors will reassess throughout the regular season and into the upcoming trade deadline. #NBA

Why would the Raptors trade-off OG Anunoby?
We have been hearing rumors about Pascal Siakam and Anunoby’s trade since the transfer window started. The Raptors have declined pretty badly, and now they are eyeing changes to their roster to fix things. A swap of the stars or getting good returns for their star can do the trick for them. This deal gives them two players and two draft picks, which can be used for the rebuild.
Despite losing VanVleet, the Raptors believe they can still compete with the top teams in the East and do not want to trade OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, or Gary Trent Jr.

Why would the Kings like to sign OG Anunoby?
The Kings are looking forward to making win-now moves rather than waiting for things to happen. The British forward would improve their defense and make them a much better team as well. The Kings want to go further in the playoffs after they lost to the Warriors last season.
Will Anunoby help the Kings perform much better than they already are? How will the Raptors use the capital they are going to get? We’ll keep you updated.
