A recent tweet related to Eiichiro Oda’s drawing just surfaced on the internet, and now it’s a One Piece vs Boruto war. The loyal fans of One Piece cannot praise Oda’s work just enough. One Piece creator, Eiichiro Oda, is on a month-long hiatus due to his eye surgery for astigmatism.
One Piece VS Boruto: Fan Claims Eiichiro Oda’s Drawings 3x Times Better Than Boruto
It’s common for fandoms to break into arguments, taking jabs at one another while defending their favorite series. In a recent One Piece VS Boruto, a One Piece fan pointed out how finely detailed Eiichiro Oda’s drawings are, even when he did it during his astigmatism, making them 3x times better than the entire Boruto series.
So yall tell me that Oda, despite having problems with his eyes, was capable of drawing 3x better than than the entirety of boruto's manga ? 😭 pic.twitter.com/elJLpMEOvi

The fan wars, especially when it comes to One VS Boruto, can be brutal sometimes!
Oda can have no eyes and still draw better than the entirety of boruto manga

Eiichiro Oda’s drawing style has always been distinct from other manga series. Few say that One Piece makes no sense, and the art is weird. Yet it managed to garner millions of fans across the world.
The One Piece VS Boruto tiff took an engaging turn when fans came together to discuss how Eiichiro Oda managed to draw so finely all these years, even with his eyes being severely affected.
Is it true these sketches were drawn by Eiichiro Oda all by himself? Oda disclosed in one of the early SBS meetings that he has at least five assistants to help him with his work.
oda has five assistants. he doesn't draw one piece by himself, so this whole tweet is stupid. If he drew one piece by himself, it would've been something, but when you have five assistants, it doesn't mean shit.

However, here is a catch. Generally, the primary responsibility of any assistant working under a mangaka is to draw backgrounds, help with pencil details, and inking.
So we cannot claim most of the work is done by the assistants. While the assistants certainly play a significant role, all mangaka, commonly, and not just Eiichiro Oda, all the mangaka set the general outline of the manga or the art, and only then do the assistants get to work according to the instructions.
Oda manly draws the main characters and objects, he sometimes does do some of the background but that is mainly done by his editors, so it is still very impressive that he could draw so well

The One Piece VS Boruto tiff ultimately concluded that despite Oda getting some helping hands with his sketches, the base, the characterizations, and the plot settings are all done by himself.
