Yusuke Murata, the artist of One Punch Man, recently spoke with actor Michael B. Jordan. On May 26, 2023, Comic Natalie published this discussion.
During the conversation, Michael B. Jordan revealed how big an anime fan he is and how anime has influenced his life since he was an 8-year-old kid. He has expressed his desire to collaborate with a creator who has a similar passion for the anime industry.
Michale said:
“Since I was 8 years old, I’ve been influenced by Japanese anime, so being able to collaborate with creators I love is nothing but pure happiness. I have a strong desire to work with individuals who share the same sensibilities as me. Even though I just met Murata-sensei today, it feels like we’ve met before. There’s a strange sense of familiarity.“
In reply to this statement, Yusuke revealed his idea of starting his own anime studio and creating more anime. He said:
“I’m delighted to hear that. I have aspirations beyond manga as well. I have a desire to establish an animation studio and continue challenging myself in the world of anime. I believe that creators are like fighters, always striving for their craft.“
Yusuke has been working on Zaiyuki, which is his first anime project. He is famous for his illustration in One Punch Man.
